What this page shows
The entire Hijri year on the Umm al-Qura calendar as twelve month grids. Each cell shows the Hijri day in large type and the matching Gregorian day beneath it; each month header shows its length (29 or 30 days) and its Gregorian start and end dates. The page opens on the current Hijri year, and you can jump to any year from 1300 to 1600 AH.

1448 AH has 355 days; its months run 29, 30, 29, 30, 30, 29, 30, 30, 29, 30, 29, 30 days. Ramadan and Eid dates are Umm al-Qura dates; the official announcement follows moon sighting.
Why month lengths change
A new Hijri month starts with the new crescent, and the average lunar month is about 29.53 days, so months alternate between 29 and 30 days with no fixed pattern: Ramadan has 30 days in 1447 AH but 29 in 1448 AH. More in The Hijri months in order.
Using the calendar
- Find an occasion: open the month and read the Gregorian date under each Hijri day.
- Plan around Ramadan or holidays together with the countdown.
- Convert one specific date with the Hijri–Gregorian Converter.
Dates on older documents may follow local moon sighting and differ by a day; for official matters, the document prevails. See The Umm al-Qura calendar explained.
